I just have to say it has been a while since I have really had a great weekend. My girlfriend and her husband came in town from TN. It just so happens that while he was here he had a job interview. I cannot tell you how excited I would be if she moved up to Cinci. Ever since I moved here I have had such a hard time making new friends. Most of the people in this area are born and raised and have no desire to let you in to their lives. I need my best friends back. I think I may be more excited about this job than her husband is. So anyways, we spent the weekend showing them around the area looking at homes, having good food, great drinks and just catching up. It was fabulous.
Sunday was our make up mother's day with my mom. My brother just returned home from his first year at college so we postponed mother's day a week. We surprised my mother with a trip to the zoo and dinner at the melting pot. It was such a wonderful end to a great weekend.
